Native Vote Action Week Wrap-Up and Native Vote Photo Competition

As Native Vote Action Week comes to a close, we want to thank all of the tribal leaders, organizers, event coordinators, teachers, and youth leaders who took part in this week’s activities. We had an even greater level of engagement than expected- in total, over 140 events throughout Indian Country. The power of Native Vote is clear, and we are looking forward to keeping up this momentum leading up to Election Day!

Tell us About Your Event! We want to hear about your event! Visit the Native Vote Action Week page to fill out your brief report (http://www.nativevote.org/page/native-vote-action-week). We’re looking forwardto telling the story of this week, and illustrating the power of the Native Vote! Use our online form to submit your stories. There will be prizes for stories featured at NativeVote.org.

Submit Photos – Win Prizes! We can’t be at every Native Vote Action week event but we want to see you rocking the Native Vote! Post your event photos to NativeVote.org, Native Vote Facebook page or tweet them with hashtag #NVActionWeek. The Native Vote team will select the top 10 photos to receive a free Native Vote sweatshirt and be featured on the Native Vote Facebook page for the chance to win a Native Vote swag pack and a $250 organizing voucher to purchase materials from the Native Vote bulk order site. Deadline for photo submissions is October 5th.

Continue to Register! There’s still time to get registered and help others register! We encourage coordinators and organizers to continue their great work in helping to get others registered! All of the same resources will be available to you right up until we meet registration deadlines, so take advantage of these important tools

To Election Day and Beyond! The important work doesn’t end here! We’ve still got less than 50 days to make sure that people make it to the polls and are able to voice their opinion. Stay tuned for tools, resources, and information to help GOTNV in your community.
