With 6 months to go until Election Day, Native Vote 2012 has released a PSA featuring Native American actor Chaske Spencer, best known for his role in the Twilight Saga.   

So what can YOU do to answer Chaske's call to BE THE SHIFT and BE THE NATIVE VOTE?

Here are five small things that can each make a BIG difference.

The Challenge:

• Get yourself registered to vote TODAY! You can even do it online.
• Think of three people you care about. Make sure they are registered and challenge them to reach out to three more people they care about.
• Know your Native Vote community coordinator! If you don't have one, nominate one: Native Vote Coordinator Sign Up
• Volunteer with your local Native Vote effort to canvass and make calls, encouraging others to register and vote.Go to Native Vote's Key States Pages for a listing of coordinators in key states, or our Other States page for a listing of coordinators in other states. Set up a voter registration booth at powwows and other community events.
• Spread the word on the Internet. "Like" the Native Vote Facebook page and follow @NativeVote and Chaske Spencer (@TheRealChaske) on Twitter. Make Chaske Spencer's message viral!
