Check out this great PSA from our partner Rock the Vote targeted at turning out the Youth Vote. Over ½ million Native Youth will be voting for the first time within the next four years and civicially informed youth are civically engaged youth. Native Vote has teamed up with Rock the Vote to provide a Native Vote supplement to the Democracy Class curriculum to help educate youth about the history of Native Vote and inspire them to understand the importance of their opinion.
Native Vote is also working with Rock the Vote to host Native Vote Action Week from September 24-28th during which schools and youth organizations throughout Indian Country will be learning about civic engagement through the the Democracy Class curriculum.
