National Poll Worker Recruitment Day

Established by the U.S. Election Assistance Commission (EAC), National Poll Worker Recruitment Day encourages more people to play an active role in our democracy by signing up to be poll workers! As we saw during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, a lack of poll workers leads to a lack of accessible polling locations. Plus, one form of voter suppression includes intimidation from poll workers. Having more Native poll workers helps create a more supportive and inviting environment to exercise our right to vote.
